If you are an eco user, Get Fussy is here to enhance your effort towards a safe and plastic-free environment. With its refillable deodorant, it’s probably time for individuals to quit using single-use plastic deodorant bottles.

Fussy is a small and compact deodorant bottle with a fancy and unique design, but quite simple to use. Thanks to the small, lightweight, and compact size, you can easily fit it in a little purse, or even a pocket.

It also has a smooth application, leaves no white marks under the arms, or stains the clothes. There are five eye-catching colors to choose from: blush, burnt orange, mint, ocean blue, and slate.

Additionally, it includes five unique unisex scents, all delicate blends of plant-based essential oils like vanilla, cedar, cinnamon, grapefruit, sage, peppermint, among others. The good news is that for those who are allergic to fragrances, there is a fragrance-free Fuss deodorant for you.

Fussy’s features include:

  • It’s a refillable deodorant that can help save the use of over 250 million single-use deodorant bottles.
  • Eco material – not only does it help reduce the plastic that ends up in landfills and oceans, but it also uses eco-material, all plant-based. The refill is made entirely from waste sugarcane. As a plant-based material, it will decompose quickly in the bin or your garden. The exterior of the product is also built using biodegradable materials and is made from BPA-free plant-based plastic. During its production, it absorbs CO2, which helps in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
  • It’s also effective and can last up to 24 hours when applied.
  • It’s aluminum-free, and it doesn’t contain palm oil, toxins, synthetic fragrances, and parabens. It’s 100% vegan and uses ingredients like coconut oil, sunflower wax, shea butter, tapioca starch, baking soda, magnesium hydroxide, and a probiotic.

The company has tested the product on 400+ fussy armpits in the worst weather conditions like summer and in saunas to ensure one still had a fresh-smelling armpit.

Although the early bird sale is already sold out, the Fussy Starter Pack is still available on Kickstarter at $24.00 for one Fussy deodorant and two refillable. An extra refill goes for $6.00, and you can get an extra container for $12.00 if you need one for the office or your purse.

There are other add-on products, like the recycled wash bag at $16.00 and the t-shirts at $28.00.

Unfortunately, worldwide shipping is estimated to start in January 2021. The product is still crowdfunding on Kickstarter with about two weeks to go to the end of the crowdfunding campaign. The campaign has already met its fixed goal of $6,321.00 and raised $109,922.16 courtesy of 2,353 backers.

There are other alternatives in the market if you can’t wait until 2021. By Humankind, Myro, and We Are Wild are some of the refillable and eco-friendly deodorants in the market, each with different aesthetic designs and scents to choose from. Some of these are more affordable than Fussy, with price tags of less than $15.00.

The leading team of Get Fussy is a couple, Bethany and Eddie, who decided to put their skills in fashion designing and creative directing into good use for future generations. They are backed by their head of product, Matt, and their operations whiz, Becky.
