Peak Design, the product design company of multiple gear solutions for travelers, commuters, and creatives, is launching new products.
Mobile, the company’s latest development, is currently crowdfunding on Kickstarter with about a week to the end of the campaign.

All the Mobile products are incorporated with the SlimLink Mounting System, which features dual locking mechanisms. The hard lock uses a zirconia ceramic ring that engages with locking teeth for demanding mounting applications and ideal for wireless charging. The soft lock mechanism, on the other hand, uses an embedded magnetic tray.
One thing to like about these products is that they apply to all sorts of phone brands. For example, one needs either the Universal Adapter or the Everyday Case to use all the Peak Design mounts, depending on the phone they are using. iPhone 11, iPhone 12 and Samsung Galaxy S20 users only need the Everyday Case while other phone brands are compatible with the Universal Adapter.
Kickstarter’s reward system includes a $32.00 option for the Everyday Case plus add-ons and the $16.00 option for the Universal Adapter plus add-ons. These options save you about $8.00 and $4.00 respectively off the retail market prices of $39.95 and $19.95. The entire Shebang package, which includes all the Mobile accessories, has a Kickstarter reward price of $332.00, saving you $143.00 off the retail price of $475.00.
Unfortunately, the delivery for Mobile is estimated to begin in May 2021. If the timeline is not much of an inconvenience, one can back the project. This is not the first time for Peak Designs to crowdfund for their products. While it does not guarantee the final product’s delivery, it is a relief to know that the company has a clean record of delivering to their project backers.
