An award-winning collection of modern, Swiss-Made watches, with a unique quarter-hour dial.
We are RVNDSGN, a product design firm founded by Zach Raven, a visionary designer with over 18 years of experience and more than 35 international design awards. Zach’s keen eye for detail and passion for pushing creative boundaries have culminated in the cutting-edge design of our latest project, the Model 1 (M1) Timepiece Collection.
A Swiss-Made contemporary timepiece and recipient of multiple international design awards, the M1 is unlike anything else on the market; a fusion of precision Swiss engineering and modern design, redefining watchmaking standards.
At RVNDSGN, we believe in creating not just products, but experiences that resonate with our users. Each design tells a story, combining form and function in ways that captivate and inspire.
Great things never come from comfort zones. The relentless pursuit of pushing the boundaries of innovation has led to amazing products throughout our modern era, and the same is true in horology. Watches have always been a fascination of Zach’s dating back to some of his design work in college. We drew inspiration from some of the most original names in horology: the beautiful Horizon series by Ikepod, the amazing UR-102 by Urwerk, and the Legacy Machines from MB&F. The innovations by these renowned names inspired our approach for the RVNDSGN M1 and for over five years, we have spent thousands of hours designing and refining not just another watch, but a timepiece like no other. The winner of 5 international design awards, the M1 is timeless, yet still ahead of its time.
In our pursuit to develop something truly new, we asked ourselves “Why do we wear a watch? Is it for style, craftsmanship, tradition, or innovation?” Every day, we are surrounded by clocks wherever we go; smartphones, computers, cars, radios, televisions… Everywhere you look, the exact time is looking right back. With this in mind, we wrote our design brief and simplified the M1 to only the essentials. We paired down the M1 dial to 3 indications: hours, quarter-hours, and date; the M1 dial is a cleaner, calmer representation of time. To continue simplifying the M1, we also removed the bezel, protruding crown, hands, date windows, and lugs; instead of counting the seconds, we ask you to step back and enjoy the moments.
The driving goal throughout design and development was to create a unique timepiece without having to manufacture a custom movement. While proprietary in-house movements can produce some astonishing timepieces, the price can also be astonishingly high, and the development of custom movements can take years and millions of dollars. By using the same readily available movement chosen by numerous luxury brands, we are able to engineer a cost-effective timepiece while also designing a completely new way of displaying time, all while being easily maintained by your local jeweler.
We have partnered with amazing Swiss manufacturers to create a luxury timepiece at an affordable price. The M1 features a precision-engineered, bezel-free 316L stainless steel case with an integrated crown and edge-to-edge domed sapphire crystal. It presents time in quarter-hour increments, powered by the Swiss Made Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement, and comes with an Italian leather strap or stainless steel bracelet.
Shipping estimates on our reward tiers are December 2025, but I believe that to be extreamely conservative. Manufacturing and assembly is estimated to take 7-8 months, so fulfillment should begin before September 2025.
A quality movement matters, and Sellita has a long tradition in assembly as well as the design and manufacture of high-end mechanical movements. Located in La Chaux-de-Fonds Switzerland, Sellita has taken the mantle as the best Swiss manufacturer of high-end movements for luxury brands.
As a pillar of Swiss watchmaking, the SW200-1 is precise, reliable, and robust, known as a workhorse movement. The SW200-1 caliber features include; date with quick set, self-winding mechanism with ball bearing, stop second device, 28,800 beats per minute (4 Hz), 26 jewels, and a 38-hour power reserve. We modify this movement with our proprietary Sequential Quarter-Hour Module to power the M1’s unique dial and time indications.
Winner of five prestigious international design awards, including the highly coveted Red Dot and Good Design awards, the M1 stands as a true testament to its outstanding design. With an innovative incremental time display that effortlessly blends form and function, the bezel-free domed sapphire crystal not only adds a touch of elegance but also offers exceptional durability. To further enhance its sleek design, the M1 boasts a flush-mount crown, seamlessly integrated into its 44mm lug-less case.

The dial of the M1 is unlike any timepiece on the market. Designed with 3 indications; hour, quarter-hour, and date, time is displayed in 15-minute increments.
Each hour is divided into four quarter-hour indices. As time passes, the quarter-hour marker gradually moves, indicating every 15 minutes. When the quarter-hour marker completes an hour, the hour marker advances to the next index. Floating numerals on the outer edge of the crystal mark today’s date.

The M1 leather collection features soft Italian leather straps with buckle closures, available in four distinct colorways: brown, grey, black, and blue.
The M1 steel collection showcases a stunning stainless steel bracelet with a butterfly clasp. Each link is bead-blasted to achieve a fine matte finish, complemented by polished link ends that add a touch of luster. Available in 3 colorways, black, steel, and rose gold.
After we hit $100k in pledges, we will add an option for vegan sailcloth straps in multiple colors with deployant clasps. Similar to Richard Mille style clasps, the deployant clasp is a sophisticated way to dress up your M1. Images to follow.
The presentation box for the M1 is still in development. Our current plans with our partners in London are focused around recyclability and the environment. Made from robust card, and finished with a subtle linen-textured paper, then foil stamped with our logo, the box features a foam insert to secure the timepiece, with a hinged card flyleaf that elegantly reveals the watch face through a die cut hole. Final details will be available after the campaign is finished.
Our manufacturing will take 7-8 months including assembly. The shipping timeline listed on the project rewards is December 2025 and is extremely conservative to avoid delays and customer dissapointment. I believe fulfillment will be much faster and I hope to have the watches out to backers before September of 2025.
By taking a direct-to-consumer online approach, we are able to cut out distributors, wholesalers, and retail stores. What this means is we are able to manufacture a stunning, original timepiece without all the markups from various middlemen. With your help, we can offer a timepiece with the same or better quality of the “mall-brands” for a fraction of the price.
We make every effort to ship worldwide, however certain countries have restrictions on what can be shipped. We will make every effort to get your reward to you, in the event we cannot, a full refund will be issued.
IMPORTANT! When a creator sends a reward to another country they have a legal responsibility to properly declare the items being shipped, including the value of the goods, on a customs form. Any duties, taxes, VAT, or other customs clearance fees that may be levied on a reward as a result will be the responsibility of the backer. Each country will have their own rules in place with regards to imported items and we advise checking this prior to pledging, as some countries’ import taxes can be very high.
