Additionally, the detachable controller automatically shuts off the power at temperatures above 140°F, preventing low-temperature burns and fire hazards.

GenHeat can be used in a washing machine with a wool course, so you can always use it cleanly. You can also iron it if it crumples after washing. (Recommended to use laundry net/No dryer)

When you wash it by hands

After disconnecting the connector with a main body, gently rub the contaminated area using a liquid neutral detergent in lukewarm water. Handwashing is recommended  to maintain the quality of this premium product.

To remove the controller, press the square button firmly on the connection point. While holding it down, pull the connector out of the socket. For safe operation of the unit, the connector is designed to fit tightly into the socket, so some force may be required to disconnect the unit.

To enhance both portability and safety, GenHeat has improved its proprietary carbon fiber to develop a fabric that is thin, provides sufficient heat quickly, and is safe to use. As a result, it is significantly lighter and features an impressively thinner profile compared to conventional carbon fiber heating pads.

The fabric used in GenHeat is 100% produced at Doctor Supply’s own facilities and factories in Korea.

It has been developed in two sizes to suit different needs, and the dedicated controller supports USB-C, enhancing its versatility.

Doctor Supply was founded in 2002 and has been manufacturing and supplying medical devices to major hospitals in Korea. The company has consistently provided thermal maintenance devices, particularly for post-operative care of cancer patients.

Through continuous research into thermal technology, Doctor Supply discovered natural carbon materials and developed a patented technique to encase natural carbon fibers with nylon and silver, which led to a global patent application.

By utilizing carbon fiber and silver fiber technology, Doctor Supply successfully compressed the mat thickness to 1mm, enhancing safety against fire hazards.

In late 2023, Doctor Supply launched the first version of GenHeat, a portable heating pad utilizing carbon fiber technology. Following the launch, customers requested improvements in portability and mobility. In response, Doctor Supply developed the 2nd version of GenHeat, which supports both USB-C DC adapters and USB-C power banks.

The ultra slim & light design made possible by 1mm carbon fiber technology minimizes storage space, while the hybrid power options ensure that the pad can be used anywhere, anytime.

We plan to ship the GenHeat Pad via airmail, to reduce product damage and long delivery wait times. Please note however that depending on your region, delivery times may vary from the day of dispatch. We may be able to provide backers with tracking information upon request. We will post an update regarding the shipping schedule once our project ends.

Taxes, Customs, and Fees

Our logistics partners will make every effort to minimize additional fees upon delivery. However, as these fees are determined by your country’s local customs regulations, taxes, and policies, we cannot confirm all charges. Any additional charges incurred after the initial dispatch of the GenHeat will be the responsibility of the recipient.

Due to the unpredictable nature, and varying policies for each country and delivery region, we cannot cover these fees in advance or include them in our shipping fees. We invite all backers to double-check their local policies regarding imports from other countries, as the GenHeat will be dispatched from its manufacturing country. Changes or reductions of the product’s declared value, product type, or product made cannot be made.
