The Story

One of the things I have always wanted to do was write a great screenplay.  Growing up Italian-American, my family and I always had a special place in our hearts for great films like The Godfather Trilogy, Goodfellas, A Bronx Tale, and Casino.  And when the Sopranos came out in 1999, and I was able to tune into a mob-based series each week, I knew I was hooked.  One day 2017, while sitting alone at a cafe on Mulberry Street in New York’s Little Italy, I made the decision to follow this passion and write the next great mob series. By the end of breakfast I had the entire idea sketched out on a paper placemat.  And after a few emails, phone calls and lunches, I knew I just had to write a script.  Three years later, I had finished the first draft of  Season 1 of my new series…Down The Shore!

As the great pandemic of Covid-19 came upon us all, the world slowed down…with the exception of people like me.  I spent tireless evening writing and revising my script, to make the story the best it could be.  While finishing one night, I happened to scroll to a social media post about a movie to be filmed in Amsterdam, NY, the place of my birth!    It was here that  I met the founders of RAMJAG Made Productions, Jim Glorioso and Renaldo Mancini.    In late July of 2020 a cast and crew of 40 people shot Jim and Renaldo’s pilot, Almost Made!    It was during this time, that I made the decision that their company, RAMJAG Made Productions would help me bring my vision to life! 

After three months of planning, Jim, Renaldo, I worked together to  assemble a cast and crew shoot the short film, of Down the Shore.     Directors or Photography Roger Tully and Dennis O’Clair, who worked on Almost Made, returned to Amsterdam with their talents.  And with the help of casting director Carolyn Cocca, we were able to secure actors, John Fiore (The Sopranos, Law and Order), Vinnie Velez (Mob Town, Highlighters), Nick Albanese (Brotherhood, The Families Feud), and of course, Renaldo Mancini (Almost Made, The Irishman).  Finally on November 7th, 2020 our cast and crew filmed our short production, in just one day!   As I have now finished post production of my short film,  and I am now looking promote and crowd fund it with this Indiegogo page, Our goal is to raise money to shoot a pilot and eventually season one of this great script and idea, Down the Shore!  Everyone involved with this project is very excited for its release.  As for me, the creator and writer, I am looking forward to great things for this project in 2021!!!

I am looking to raise $50,000 to create a 30 minute professionally produced short film or TV pilot. The cast and some of the production team have opted to get paid on the back end so we can use the finances to hire a top notch crew with cinema grade equipment. Financial Goals and Objectives

If the project raises between $30,000 and $49,000 IN THE NEXT 90 DAYS, we’ll still be able to produce a high quality cinematic short film/Pilot by reducing and negotiating up front costs. 

If the project raises $50,000  and over IN THE NEXT 90 DAYS, we’ll be able to include marketing and film festival submissions.

I currently have options to create a full feature or a television series depending on what interest may come of this.
