Warriors is made of Cordura MIL-SPEC 1000D – the most durable and heavy duty material, specifically designed for wear resistance and strength. Provides long-lasting durability and resistance to abrasions, tears and scuffs. Click here for more details of the testing report.

Cordura Mil-Spec meets United States military specifications (DTL-32439A). The fabrics are tested for colorfastness, tensile strength, water repellency and more in order to meet military standards. These fabrics come in a selection of tactical colors including browns, green, black, gray and U.S. Army camouflage. These fabrics are produced using less water, energy and CO2 emissions, creating a lighter environmental footprint and a more eco-friendly and sustainable manufacturing process.

Cordura Mil-Spec fabrics come in two weights: 500D and 1000D. As denier is a designation of fiber thickness, 500D is a lighter weight version of 1000D. However, both fabric weights have the same properties and can be used for all the same applications including duffle bags and backpacks, wallets, protective outerwear, military gear, luggage, pet beds and more. These fabrics are also Berry Amendment Compliant, which means they are completely made in the USA.

Combining VISLON® technology with a new innovative seal between the zipper elements, AQUASEAL® allows a smooth and easy operation with perfect protection against the most severe weather conditions and extreme outdoor activities.

AQUASEAL® zippers are made from a high quality plastic which is roughly half the weight of a conventional metal zipper. This makes AQUASEAL® zippers ideal for use in saltwater environments.

*We noticed that many backers have questions about the shoulder strap, please check the information below!  

For the shoulder strap, it is one of the key features of a travel backpack, we understand people carrying their laptops, tablets, shoes, etc together will find their bag in a heavyweight.

So Warriors backpack uses soft elastic nylon fabric (similar to diving suit fabric) as the backside of the shoulder strap, compare to common mesh fabric, it is more soft and comfortable, also avoids the mesh scratching your coat.

A different sewing detail is used on the Warriors backpack and its shoulder’s outside is piping. Its inside, a revert sewing was used and there is no piping make your neck uncomfortable.

We use a more high-density EPE foam for the insert, this makes the strap keep shape for a longer life-cycle which brings softness and comfort when loading on the shoulder.
