Thousands of dogs are lost each year. My first dog went missing when he was 6 months old. He was my first ever dog, when I realised he escaped I didnt know what to do I began to frantically knock on neighbours doors and then drove up and down the streets to look for him. He was missing for 7hours. There was no information on what to do and by the time I was advised to call a ranger they had closed. This is when my idea began to evolve, I wanted to make it easy for people to report their dog as lost or stolen and for the people who found dogs to also know what to do with a found dog. Some people cannot afford to get their dog if it is put in the pound and so I thought how wonderful it would be if we could close the gap from lost/stolen to found. The app software allows owners to send an alert to all users with their dog picture and profile, the dog profile details the dogs temprament and any crucial medical information. People who find a dog and do not know what to do can also follow some easy steps to keep a dog safe and where they can take them within their local community.
