Join our producing team on this hilarious action-comedy that’s sure to be an instant X-mas favorite!

Story

Dashing Through the Snow is fun spirited dark comedy feature film with loads of action. Set on a snowy Christmas Eve, a US Marshal desperate to escape her judgmental family buries herself in work, only to get snowed in with the most unexpected company: a cheerful, very pregnant fugitive! As if that’s not enough, she’s suddenly in charge of keeping this soon-to-be mom safe from both labor pains and a merry band of bumbling goons led by a trio of hitmen who couldn’t find a reindeer in the North Pole!

The cinematography will be creative and bold, the music will be powerful and the action will keep viewers at the edge of their seats. Inspired by such films as Netflix’s Extraction, Violent Night, and the John Wick series, our film will be fast paced and dynamic.

In the last year, we have raised a large portion of our budget required to make Dashing Through the Snow. However, we must raise the remaining production costs of $150,000 before winter, or we won’t be able to make the film this season. So we are now running out of time and we are turning to you for help! We’re inviting our industry contacts, investors, and even friends and fans of our work, to help bring our project to fruition — and even become part owner of our film!

Funds raised here, combined with our current funds already raised, will be used for the following:

  • Location rentals.
  • Production permits and insurance.
  • Camera production package rentals.
  • Lighting equipment package rentals.
  • Wardrobe rentals.
  • Set dressing and props.
  • SAG actor daily rates.
  • Crew daily rates.
  • Food catering for cast & crew.
  • Post production costs (editing, VFX, color, sound, delivery)
  • Publicity & marketing.

We believe that clever action comedies are crowd-pleasing commodities, and Dashing Through the Snow is no exception, especially when it comes to Christmas-themed films. Our film is a unique take in those genres. It promotes relatable and hilarious thought out characters to be played by award-winning actors, non-stop edge of your seat action sequences involving chases, hand-to-hand combat, gunfights, crashes and exciting twists.

With the current marketplace crave for fresh action comedies and the increased demand for digital content, the next few years are shaping up to be pivotal times for independent filmmaking. Our film is positioned well to garner major brand exposure, acquire worldwide distribution and become an instant hit – possibly even spanning multiple sequels or a TV series – all because of your contribution!
