Short Summary

• Scarlet Sage was founded in San Francisco in 1995. We are a haven for health and wellness in San Francisco. We moved from Valencia Street to Fillmore Street due to increased crime, shoplifting, and falling foot traffic. 
• The San Francisco Health Department has mandated that we package our herbs in individual bags to sell them to the community. This has been a massive hit to our current business as we are still transitioning to our new neighborhood.
• By donating any amount you are helping save our legacy business from closing due to these additional new costs to package our herbs, and helping us survive in San Francisco’s small business climate!

What We Need & What You Get

• We are raising $50,000 to help us survive this season, pay for a commercial kitchen, packaging supplies, additional liability insurance, labeling requirements, and additional labor. 
• If we fund below our goal, the funds will continue to help get through this season of uncertainty. 
• If you donate any amount you will get a personal thank you from Laura Ash, the owner of Scarlet Sage, and if you donate over $1000, she will invite you for tea to say thank you in person.

The Impact

• Scarlet Sage is a community of healers, herbalists, spiritual workers, and health enthusiasts, these funds will help keep our legacy business afloat during so much transition and new mandates from the city and state. 
• We may not survive the next month without the help of you all!

• We know that San Francisco is seeing small businesses fail and we are determined to not be one of those. 
• We need to continue to purchase inventory to create our wellness space.
