Education

• As we know, one of a major purpose of Raspberry Pi is education. Student could use  Raspberry Pi to learn programming. If they want to know how to access and control peripheral device, it is easy too – just use GPIO.
• In entry level school, most school course focus on software, not hardware. With HAT module, they can easy to arrange their course on programming rather than spend too much time in managing hardware.
• Teacher could prepare necessary HAT modules for each course chapter. When the course move forward, student could change the HAT module then everything is ready for next course. It can save time and reduce the risk to broke the teaching aid.

Prototype

• We know thousands of people use Raspberry Pi to develop product prototype. But without suitable case, those prototype is still difficult to leave from laboratory. 
• We can purchase experiment PCB HAT from the market, build our prototype on the experiment PCB HAT  then integrate all components in the hubor modular case.  With the feature like thin, wall mount and magnet, people could install their prototype easy and safe – since there is no unnecessary wire/cable expose outside.
• When we need to install the prototype in somewhere without stable power, low power consumption and backup power become very important. With ZeroEXP mobile edition (backup power), we can deploy prototype with Raspberry Pi Zero (low power consumption) to enhance prototype stability.

Business

• As the Raspberry Pi get popular, more and more product use Raspberry Pi board as their product core. 

• Since Raspberry Pi is a general purpose board, maybe it is not a best choice when we want to mass produce the product; to choose specific board for dedicated function is better.

• But there is still advantage when we need fast development and the volume is limited. It is suitable for small business, project based development etc. With hubor module expansion case, it is easy to package all components and sell as a product.

• The following picture indicate a project to use Xpress 3B+Cargo C to provide remote control and environment data collection (Temperature, humidity and electronic current). We can read collected data from the central portal.

Add-on Perks

If backer want to use new Raspberry Pi board in our product rather than their existing board, we can provide relative components and install Raspberry Pi/Raspbian before shipping.

Project Schedule and Shipping

We are ready to process mass production. 

• All components in the photo/video is REAL, not computer aid graphic effect.
• We will launch mass production process once we achieve our funding goal. By existing time estimation, we will begin to deliver perks before the end of January 2020,
• We will follow the sequence of the order to manage deliver sequence. If you hope to receive your perk early, submit it NOW!

We will deliver perks by International express service like DHL/Fedex/UPS (except Taiwan) to guarantee perk delivery and save your time in waiting.

Our Next Step

We believe such modular case could enhance Raspberry Pi use scenarios, let more people make their innovation down-to-earth. We will focus the following directions continuously:

• Provide various ready-to-use HAT modules

1. Migrate existing HAT to be HAT module.
2. Promote Maker’s idea to be HAT module, let people could use/enjoy their innovation very easy. 
3.  Help people to turn their requirement into real stuff by HAT module ODM/OEM.

• Provide various featured modules and accessories

1. Develop common modules to satisfy many people’s request; ex. UPS/power module.
2. Develop common accessories; ex. more smart cooling components.

• Provide similar modular expansion case for Arduino

1. Many people ask similar product in Arduino when we announce hubor modular Raspberry Pi expansion case in our Facebook fan page.
2. We will follow the same design concepts to design & develop modular Arduino expansion case after we get success in this campaign and complete it.

• Provide metal case for more tough operation environment. 

1. Actually, we think the problem we try to solve is a “packaging” problem – how to develop a good case design to let us use Raspberry Pi very easy.
2. We hope we can provide  mass produced metal case to meet the requirement of tough operation environment, and keep the same or better function with other modular expansion case.
3. We don’t have plan or schedule about metal modular expansion case development, yet. It’s a chicken-or-egg conundrum…… 

Do you like our development plan and need future product but current product?

1. We will follow the same crowdfunding model for each major milestone of our new product,  Meanwhile we will provide excellent perk for old friend.
