Alec (CEO)

As a product designer and an avid cyclist, Alec always found passion in introducing innovative design elements in bikes. In 2016, Alec rejected a dream job offer at Shimano, and co-founded Beno Technologies with the goal of pioneering e-bike innovation and creating the perfect e-bike for the modern urban cyclist. Reevo is the result of that dream – an innovative hubless e-bike brought to life by a team of experienced engineers and manufacturing specialists. Alec has previously worked at a Fortune 500 company as a senior mechanical design engineer. His expertise and experience led to the creation of the first hubless wheel prototype based on an innovative novel design. 

When he’s not busy designing bikes, Alec can be found riding them and keeping up to date with the latest in the biking world. He also enjoys modifying Harley Davidsons and has a slightly unhealthy obsession with devising new destructive tests for bikes.

Ivan, Ph.D. (CTO)

Ivan’s love of technology started early from a young age. He was always fascinated by the latest gadgets and dreamt that one day, he could invent something just as cool. That passion led him to join Beno Technologies to work on novel e-bike technologies. Prior to this, Ivan has accumulated research and manufacturing experience in various world-renowned companies, notably in the semiconductor industry. He also holds a degree and doctorate in Electrical Engineering, and has authored several research papers in the field of IoT and smart lighting.

He loves building over-engineered gadgets to simplify mundane tasks and has a particular weakness for the latest gadgets in the tech world. Ivan is also an avid soccer fan, and tunes in to watch his beloved Liverpool F.C. at every opportunity.

Andrea (Lead Engineer)

Andrea is a leading expert in ASIC, PCBA and FPGA design, with over 20 years of experience in various engineering-related fields. He is also the founder of KERR Srl, an R&D company with a strong focus on ASIC, electronic and custom software development. His wealth of expertise also extends to product design and manufacturing prepardness. Andrea led work on the signature Triple Barrier AntiTheft system, overall system engineering design, and quality testing.

He can often be found exploring new hiking trails and taking his various bikes out for a ride on beautiful sunny days. Andrea’s love of the outdoors also extends to camping and living off-grid whenever possibl

We are a team of engineers with a passion to build amazing things that contribute towards a smarter, more connected future. We focus on solving modern mobility challenges through technological advancement.
