<Cycloid-Doll Mark.4 Ver2.0>

18 months ago, we succeeded in funding on Kickstarter. Thanks to your support, we have completed our brand new doll, which makes all of the internal joints and body parts new.

This time, the “CYCLOID-doll Mark.4” will be improved to version 2.0.

A brighter skin tone that is more doll-like.

Until “Mark.4 ver.1.0”, she had “Dark beige” skin color which is close to human. But the darker the resin cast color, the more uneven the color is. In that case, depending on the parts, the yield of good parts is only about 30%, and last time, 70% of the parts were discarded and re-production overlapped, and the delivery time was also delayed. Based on this experience, from this version 2.0, we will start production with “Bright skin color” which is close to the general doll.

However, if the color is bright, the thin parts will become transparent. Now, in version 2.0, we’ll thicken that. Specifically, we will modify three parts: the thigh, the shin, and the knee, and remake these molds. In order to make up for the material cost of the silicon and resin, we start this project on Kickstarter.

Chose from 2 types of bust parts

In this 2.0 version, 2 kinds of Bust parts – S & L size will be shaped and duplicated.  The S size bust parts is the same size of Mark.3. So by changing the parts, you can wear the clothes up to Mark 3 (only upper body).

• L-size : 24.0 cm

New wigs will be added to the lineup

With this project, we will add two more wig types to our lineup in addition to the previous eight. If you select “Completed Doll set”, you will choose a combination from 2 types of face parts and 10 types of wig.

A kit version is also available for your convenience.

Seam line erasing and matte finishing of mass-produced body parts require a lot of manual labor. However, it’s fun to see the doll come to life through this process. If you’re familiar with it, try this kit version.

＜サイクロイド・ドール　Mark.4 Ver2.0＞

今から1年半前、キックスターターでのファンディングに成功。おかげさまで、内部ジョイント＆ボディパーツのすべてが新造形となるマーク４が完成いたしました。今回は、そのマーク４を改良したバージョン2.0になります。

よりドールらしい、明るい肌色へ

「マーク４ver.1.0」までは、人間に近い濃い肌色をしていましたが、レジンキャストの色は、濃くなるほど色ムラが出やすくなってしまいます。昨年のキックスターター・バージョンでは、パーツによっては良パーツの歩留まりが3割程度しかなく、パーツの7割を破棄、再生産が重なり、納期も遅れてしまいました。この反省を踏まえまして、今回のバージョン2.0からは、一般的なドールの色に近い、より明るい肌色で生産をスタートいたします。

ただ、明るい色の場合、透明度も高くなるため、パーツの薄い箇所が透けやすくなります。そこを厚く改良したものが、今回のバージョン2.0ということになります。

具体的には、モモ、スネ、ヒザの計３パーツを修正し、型も新しく作り直すことになります。そのための費用、シリコーンとレジンキャストの材料費捻出のため、キックスターターを通じての受付をいたします。

選べる2タイプの胸パーツ

今回のバージョン2.0では、新たにS胸パーツを造形、複製します（こちらの型代、複製代も今回のキックスターターでの資金で賄われます）。これにより、前回のL胸と合わせ、計2種類の中から、胸の大きさを選択することができます。

• S-size : 23.0cm (new!)
• L-size : 24.0 cm

なお、S胸は、以前のマーク３のサイズとなっておりますので、このパーツ交換により、マーク３までの衣装（上半身）が着用できることになります。

新たに二つのウイッグがラインナップに。

今回のプロジェクトを機に、これまでの8種類に、さらに2種類のピンク系ウイッグがラインナップに加わります。「完成版」を選択した場合、2種類のフェイスパーツ、全１０種類のウイッグの中から組み合わせを選んでいただくことになります。

よりお求めやすいよう、キット版もご用意。

今回は、完成版のほかに、ご自身で組み立て＆仕上げを行っていただく「キット版」もご用意いたしました。量産したボディパーツの、バリ取り、シームライン消し、つや消し加工には、手作業による、かなりの手間がかかります。とはいえ、この作業を通じ、ドールに少しづつ、命が吹き込まれてゆくのを体験するのは楽しいことです。ぜひ腕に覚えのある方は、今回のキット版をお試しください。
