This campaign will be supporting the first LP music project by the band “We Don’t Ride Llamas”.

Story

Once upon a time in Austin, Texas, there were four siblings, who were young, gifted, and Black. They loved music with all their hearts and were elated when their father gave them the game Rock Band, which they played together for hours on end. Independently of the others, each studied the tuba, the piano, voice, and drums. After attending a rock band camp in 2014, the siblings decided to play together for real and the band, We Don’t Ride Llamas, was born.

The foursome wrote, practiced, and performed wherever they could get a stage. Over the years as the band developed their sound, the stages got bigger and bigger. After releasing their first EP, The Oracle, it wasn’t long before record labels came knocking, but the deals they offered weren’t good ones for a young band on the rise. That’s when this unconventional band decided to go an unconventional route.

Following the footsteps of their heroes, De La Soul, Chase, Max, Blake, and Kit are crowdfunding to help pay for recording, mixing, marketing, and everything else for their first LP, American I(con). By collaborating with the band, you’ll be helping them to pay for studio time, additional production work, design, packaging, marketing, and distribution for American I(con). This is a project that cannot be done without you. But the band really wants to make it a collaborative effort and so they have created a host of ways to reward your support and invite you to join them on this next adventure.
