EXPERIENCE: Our team is comprised of experienced entrepreneurs, product engineers, designers, and supply chain experts with a combined experience of more than 50 years of entrepreneurial and manufacturing know-how, so rest assured that we are prepared to create a DarkHeat jacket that not only meets, but exceeds your expectations.

We understand how Crowdfunding can be different from traditional projects and businesses and that is why we considered it important to have a team member that has successfully delivered 6 Kickstarter campaigns. This knowledge helps us better plan ahead and be prepared for challenges that could arise in all phases of the campaign from production to fulfillment.

 

MANUFACTURING: We are working with two top apparel manufacturers that are able to take our premium materials and create a product of the quality that we can expect. We acknowledge that with Kickstarter campaigns it can be difficult to predict the demand and therefore we strategically chose these two manufacturers of different sizes so that we can meet minimum order quantities if the campaign only marginally exceeds its goal, while the second manufacturer allows our production abilities to scale and accommodate much higher demands.

 

QUALITY: We are here to create a quality jacket that you can enjoy for many years to come. For that to happen, we are ensuring that the quality is maintained throughout the various stages of the production by introducing a third-party quality inspection firm that has over 10 years of experience in carrying out in-factory inspections. They will be on the manufacturing floor, analyzing, testing, and reporting to us on all aspects, ranging from aesthetic elements like the fabrics to functional aspects such as the stitching durability.

 

 

SHIPPING: One important challenge that we have considered is significantly exceeding our funding goal and therefore to account for this possibility, we are partnering with some of the largest fulfillment companies that are experienced with working on Crowdfunding campaigns. Based on our research, one of the most time-consuming steps can be trying to scale an in-house direct-to-backer delivery team. That is why we have planned to partner with professional fulfillment companies in order to cope with the possibility of high demand.

Having considered practically all aspects and possible challenges involved in running a Kickstarter campaign, we are still aware of the fact that completely unexpected issues can arise. That is where the experience of our team comes in and it is one of the main reasons why we strongly believe and have shown in the past that we can find solutions and overcome any challenges that come our way.
