When it comes to their overall health, pet owners will do just about anything for their pets. Although bathing your pets can be beneficial under many circumstances, washing your furry little friend is not an easy task to perform, especially when it comes to the drying process.

 

Hands-free drying makes Drybo Plus stand out from all the other drying solutions. The smart cabin design enables you to focus on things other than managing your little friend’s escape plans: their comfort, their emotions, and their well-being.

In 2020, we released Dyrbo, our first-ever pet dryer. It was delivered to more than ten thousand households; our goal was to make the drying process of your pets more manageable and comfortable. In 2021, at Indigogo we introduce an upgraded version of the already brilliant solution for pet drying.

 

Drybo Plus drastically cuts drying times thanks to our patented motor, which acts as an air exchanger. It manages the ventilation for the whole cabin and removes stale and heated air from the inside to the outside, replacing it with fresh air.

We’ve designed three big exhausts that allow stale air to be ousted. Hundreds of venting holes placed on the doors along with the tempered glass ensure hot air gets expelled while channeling fresh air in Drybo Plus without the need to turn it on.

 

Most of the time, our pets don’t simply dislike blow dryers’ loud noises: they fear them. Noise aversion can be easily triggered before the drying process because, in your pet’s view, any blow dryer produces unexpected loud noises.

The essence of Drybo Plus is a quiet operation. We reduce the noise by improving air paths: Drybo Plus operates at 40dB in gentler cozy-dry mode and less than 60dB in the loudest quick-dry mode. This is all much quieter than a conventional human dryer that operates at more than 80dB.

Our R&D team spent considerable time and effort trying to figure out how to cancel the noise as much as possible. We have researched the air outlets and air duct designs of kitchen hoods to finally optimize a patented design that minimizes noise and air resistance.

Airflows go through an air path that creates a 3D-shaped spiral from narrow to wide, minimizing and canceling the flowing wind and motor noise.

 

Based on the observation and research on body postures of pets, our team took into account the common positions our paw friends take during the drying process. Whether curling up like a donut with all of their limbs tucked close to their body or just lying belly down on a cold surface, none of their positions is convenient for us to dry them thoroughly.

That is why our team has made special adjustments to the design of the wind duct and outlet. Drybo Plus delivers strong airflows from the bottom surface to effectively dry pets’ hard-to-reach areas like belly, thighs, and paws. However, there is no circuit part on the entire bottom as well. So you don’t have to worry if water drains down the base.

 

As pet lovers, we never joke about our friends’ safety. The protection system is designed to detect ten times per second any sign of overheating and other potential dangers. We have configured six sets of independent safety components to ensure the safety of Drybo Plus from both a physical and an electrical standpoint.

 

An average hair dryer for human hair operates at 150°F (65°C). This temperature is way too hot for our friend’s delicate furs, and it may cause accidental skin damage. The nozzle can only shoot concentrated heat to one spot at a time and leave the rest of the areas still damp and cold, increasing the chances of getting a cold.

On the other hand, a typical pet dryer shoots air at room temperature. It blasts the water out of the coat, which is not feasible in winter because low temperatures with strong airflows can make them vulnerable and uncomfortably wet.

Drybo Plus delivers a warm and gentle breeze that ensures their comfort and prevents them from getting cold while providing an even air distribution.

Our R&D team paid particular attention to temperature control because one of the general risks of bathing your pet in warm water is that they can catch a chill once they come out. Customization and intelligent heat control allow your paw friends to be appropriately taken care of by you and Drybo Plus.

The highest temperature of Drybo Plus doesn’t exceed 104°F / 40°C, which is slightly higher than the average body temperature of dogs and cats (101.0 to 102.5°F / 38.3 to 39.2°C).

 

For Drybo Plus, we have designed a panel that is clear and easy to operate. The accidental touch protection prevents children and animals alike from turning Drybo Plus on by accident.

No one likes frizzy hair, so our R&D team added negative ions to the device. Negative ions are an excellent remedy for pet owners to groom their fluffy and get a shiny coat. The negative ion generator draws moisture from the air, creating super-fine moisture-rich ions that penetrate each strand of hair for a healthy, less damaged look.

 

Essential oils might be relaxing and refreshing to human beings but are potentially poisonous for pets. We developed a magnetic diffuser that releases a relaxing odorless pheromone to reduce your pets’ anxiety effectively. We obviously have different versions for both your doggo and your kitty. The patented design of our petting doors was created for paw parents to better comfort and take care of their furry kids. You can use the switch to open/lock the doors. Unlock the switch to put your hand in to interact and groom your pet.

The powerful ventilation system with a helix air path blows up all the pet hairs and collects them on the hair filter. You can easily pick all of them and clean the cabin with the slightest effort.

 

Drybo plus is super easy to clean and maintain. Its bottom part has no circuit, so you can detach the drainage plate to draw off all the unwanted liquid. Clean the bottom with a damp wipe, and Drybo Plus is again neat as new.

Dust filters in the motor compartment will trap dust from the air. Take it out with no effort, rinse it with cold water, and put it back when it’s dry.
