The Story Behind Eeva

Our goal is to revolutionize laundry so it stops sucking both for people and the environment.

We created Eeva out of pure frustration with how grueling and inconvenient it was to do laundry. We would look at these traditional, giant, clunky machines, then at how long and tedious the entire laundry process was.

We were convinced this wasn’t the future. It couldn’t be. There had to be a better way to go about solving this problem.

The way we do laundry hasn’t changed in 70 years and neither has what laundry machines look like. Was this because this had reached its full potential? Or because the companies in charge of this innovation are enjoying rampant success and therefore hesitant to introduce exponential change? We believed it was the latter, so we took it upon ourselves to make something that completely reinvented what it meant to do laundry.
