Crowdfunding roots
We launched our first wireless charger, Unravel, on Kickstarter and Indiegogo back in 2018, which became one of the most funded wireless chargers in crowdfunding history (raising nearly $1 million).

Since then, we’ve also launched a range of innovative tech products, like, Dusk, our game-changing smart sunglasses with tint-changing lenses. And Shower Power, our hydropower shower speaker, which was a CES Innovation award winner. But travel tech and charging accessories have always been near and dear to our hearts.

Horizon is a wireless charger four years in the making.
It’s an evolution that began with Unravel and ended with the product you see today. Since we released Unravel, we’ve designed a suite of wireless charging accessories and have worked closely with the most established suppliers in the space.
We have received feedback from thousands of Unravel users who have let us know the features they love and want to see in their wireless chargers.
Needless to say, we know a thing or two about wireless charging.
Horizon is the culmination of that work.
Shipping
Shipping prices have been unpredictable over the past three years (thanks, COVID!). As such, we’ll be charging for shipping after the campaign is over, closer to your shipping date. This is because the prices that we set now could change four months from now.
Shipping will be charged through the BackerKit shipping survey, which we’ll send after the campaign is over. Below is a shipping estimate based on our latest forecasting, but please keep in mind that things could change.

Risks & Challenges
TLDR;
If you order, we will deliver.
There are always risks involved whenever you aren’t buying a product that is sitting on a shelf. However, we think Ampere is a pretty safe bet. We’ve made tens of thousands of wireless chargers and delivered on seven crowdfunding campaigns.
We’ve had some logistical challenges over the last couple of years (you know, when a pandemic caused a global supply chain crisis). But that led us to revamp our logistics and supply chain processes completely. We’ve moved to a new warehouse and implemented best-in-class order and inventory management software.
The biggest concern we have with Horizon is the wait time for Apple-certified modules—which is why we placed our component order almost six months ago. We are confident that we will be able to ship the first 1,000 orders in March. If you are not one of the first 1,000 backers, do not despair, we will be ordering more modules and will keep you up-to-date on the delivery timeline.
Should anything affect our delivery timeline, we will keep you updated. We try our best to respond to every person who reaches out to us, regardless of the channel, within 24 hours. Don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions or feedback.
