Launching KAWA T6/T6 pro security cameras has taken close to two years from concept to the launch of the Kickstarter campaign and then to Indiegogo InDemand. We are extremely excited to foster an early community of backers for KAWA T6/T6 pro that will make these cameras a reality. Like every new project, there are always risks and challenges. We know from experience that it takes a lot of planning, hard work, and determination to launch a new product successfully. In that light, we are also committed to sharing the risks associated with the production and launch of KAWA T6/T6 pro.

 

Component Availability: We have planned the availability of key components and established good relationships with our key suppliers. In addition, we have also established a well-documented component list, choosing high-quality components with high availability.

 

Manufacturing: We have our own factory, which is over an area of 30000 square meters and has more than 2000 employees, equipped with advanced automatic testing and production equipment, and an informatization management system. But there might be complications and delays in manufacturing as with any production run. We will strictly and carefully monitor the manufacturing process to ensure we de-risk our production and deliver the product to backers and partners. That being said, manufacturing certain tooling components can from experience take longer than anticipated, which may have a knock-on effect on delivery times. However, we are derisking this by establishing strong relationships with our suppliers and leveraging past relationships.

 

Design Changes: KAWA T6/T6 pro packs you see on Kickstarter are final prototypes. They are very close to the finished product you’ll receive. Still, because we can make improvements on camera hardware and KAWA AIoT App version, the design may be subject to final modifications based on KAWA’s continued testing & refinement and backers’ suggestions.

 

International Deliveries: The logistics process is being planned in advance to meet compliance and external certification requirements in certain countries, ensuring smooth delivery in November upon reaching our funding goal.

 

The user experience is designed to enhance and simplify the whole product experience. Depending on feedback, aspects of the user experience flow may be reworked and fine-tuned. We will be sure to maintain close communication with our community with any questions you may have.
