MEMO is not just a great wallet – it’s a tool for organizing your life on the go. From its RFID-blocking technology to its whiteboard feature, let’s dive into the key features.

MEMO holds up to 6 cards, including credit/debit cards, ID cards, parking receipts, public transport tickets, and even polaroids. Store them safely and securely inside the RFID-blocking area. The card holding capacity is split over the two sides of MEMO, each side holding up to three cards.

Simply slide the cards out with your thumb if you need them. MEMO is designed to hold your cards safely in place using rubber grips. Quick tip: put your two most frequently used cards on each side of the wallet for easy access.

MEMO includes a fine-point pen with a 0.8mm tip, perfect for jotting down notes and ideas on the go. The pen writes in black ink and features an eraser on the back, allowing you to make quick corrections and revisions.

Like most ideas, MEMO started out as a quick sketch on pen and paper. The initial idea was drafted in June 2020.

This quickly transformed into more serious design sketches, eventually leading to a fully-fledged engineering process to get all the details right.

To ensure that the card-holding feature of MEMO is as functional and reliable as possible, we built a testing device, which can simulate up to 6 years of MEMO usage in under a day. The cards will slide out easily when needed, but stay securely in place in all other cases.

To develop the most optimized tool for organizing your life on the go, we went through an iterative process that involved creating a large number of prototypes and subjecting them to extensive testing.

Whiteboards are only fun if they’re good. How many times did you experience a whiteboard that would not properly erase or made squeaky sounds when writing? For MEMO we wanted only the best. The final product will have an all-aluminum whiteboard with heat-applied dry-erase paint. Ultra smooth and durable.

Through rigorous engineering and testing, we have fine-tuned every aspect of MEMO to ensure that it is a reliable and functional tool for organizing your life on the go. We are now proud to announce that MEMO is ready for mass production.

MEMO is produced using CNC milling, a highly precise manufacturing technique that makes sure MEMO is solid and durable. We had so much fun watching the CNC milling machines at work, turning raw aluminum alloy into the finished product.

After this engineering process, we are now at the Pre-Production stage. It means we have finalized the packaging and we have received samples from the manufacturer (see the image below) that need some minor tweaks still.
