How does body thermal charging work?

The mechanism of thermal power generation is based on a phenomenon called the Seebeck effect, which was discovered in 1821. The Seebeck effect is a phenomenon in which a weak electric current flows where there is a temperature difference.

For example, if the body surface temperature (32°C) – room temperature (22°C), a temperature difference of 10°C exists. The current is generated from this temperature difference and stored.

Can it run out of battery?
It’s possible, but very unlikely. If the amount of electricity consumed is greater than the amount of electricity generated, the battery may run out.

For example, if you use the activity mode on high or repeatedly sync it with the app, it will consume a lot of power. Alternatively, the battery may be low if the environmental temperature is very close to your body temperature—or you spend little time in the sun. If the battery dies, simply place MOTHER Bracelet on the included starter, and it will fully charge in a couple of hours.

Where is the solar panel located on the bracelet?
Solar panels are mounted on the surface of the main unit to generate power even in environments with low temperature difference power distribution. Power generation is supplied from the Pin visible on the edge of the surface of the main unit.

How accurate is the data provided by MOTHER Bracelet?
MOTHER Bracelet uses a 3-axis acceleration sensor to measure sleep with more than 95% accuracy. The accuracy of the remaining metrics is very high based on industry standards, comparable to similar wearable devices.
