Go back to the 1930s and have some fun with this stylish, classical kit car for the modern era

Story

This is the N1930 NORIMONOYA Labo, a kit car inspired by the creativity, excitement, elegance and originality of the great cars of the 1930s—an age of style and glamour which you can now easily go back to with this modern-day retro car that is literally a dream come true!

Well, at NORIMONOYA and CJ-BEET we have a very solid history in the automobile industry that goes way back in time, but the kind of car history in the making that we’re offering you is actually the NORIMONOYA Labo. This is a kit car that you can assemble on your own and drive, having fun along the way while keeping a true collector’s item: a 1930s-inspired  car that’s truly like no other!

The N1930 NORIMONOYA Labo is literally the stuff that dreams are made of. We have researched, found and re-applied drawings and various materials of the 1930s era, which we have combined with modern materials and techniques to offer the best of both worlds: the unparalleled charisma of a superb old car with the safety and performance of new parts and technology.

That’s the whole point of building a 1930s-inspired kit car: creating an automobile that oozes charm precisely because its details are true to its origin. That’s why we used the leaf spring for the front wheel damping—precisely to maintain the authentic design of the year so that your NORIMONOYA Labo is every inch as spectacular as you would want it to be!

The NORIMONOYA Labo’s unique aura is based on its stunning and detail-oriented design, and its heart is its engine. We have used a four-stroke engine with a displacement of 50CC-125CC. We’d like to specify that a small car equipped with a 50CC engine in Japan can be registered with the MiniCar license—which means it can be used not only on the road, but also at a low cost, in terms of fuel spending.

We’ve been hard and passionately at work for 3 years, working every day to create a classical kit car for tasteful and demanding collectors and admirers of the 1930s era. As car lovers ourselves, we knew we would accept nothing but an extraordinary vehicle. Now that we can finally present you with the N1930 NORIMONOYA Labo, we feel gratified and honored by this experience, and we’re really looking forward to seeing you driving this iconic set of wheels, so we invite you to support our project while getting your very own NORIMONOYA Labo!

The NORIMONOYA Labo N1930 is developed by NORIMONOYA, a Japanese company that specializes in the development and production of small cars and motorcycles. At NORIMONOYA, we have a blend of Japanese high production standards and technical personnel with a China-based production. We aim to offer Japanese quality products at low prices.

NORIMONOYA started as a motorcycle shop in the Setagaya area of Tokyo. Although it was a motorcycle shop, it developed many original parts and motorcycle products. MonkeyDavidson, CafeRacer, and SideCar are the masterpieces of NORIMONOYA, which are the pioneers of the popular Monkey modification. Our company also invented Cypress, the prototype car of what came to be the popular MiniCar in Japan. We’ve made the news every week in various magazines and TV stations. We’re also proud to say that our CafeRacer and MonkeyDavidson were also rated as the best models by the Tokyo Motorcycle Show (7th, 8th, 9th) for three consecutive years.

After-Sale Policy—What You Need To Know

A Special Message to Japanese Backers

Under Japan’s road traffic law, a MiniCar with a license plate under 50CC is allowed on the road. For those who support the 50CC vehicle, we will issue a document for registration. For specific matters, you may consult the tax department of each local government. We should state that we do not offer any explanation for the registration process since that is information that you need to obtain from the relevant entities. We also want to state that our company shall not be responsible for any accidents or personal injuries that may occur while driving on the highway after obtaining the license plate.

After-Sale Guarantee

The vibration of the goods during transportation (land/sea) and the climate of each country are different. The screws and carburetors of the car body, brake system, etc., must be comprehensively inspected before the first trip after assembly, and the problems should be repaired in a timely manner. Before each trip, a spot inspection should be carried and, if any problem is found, adjustments and repairs should be made before driving. The manual labor generated by the spot inspection and maintenance shall be borne by the support personnel themselves.

Warranty Period (90 Days)

The after-sales service that we offer covers the provision of spare parts. This company is not responsible for repairing cars. The spare parts that need to be replaced due to quality issues of the vehicle shall be provided free of charge by the company during the warranty period. If you are unable to have spot-inspection maintenance, please consider this carefully. It should also be noted that, according to the nature of this product, minor damage and the peeling of paint may occur but are not covered by the after-sales warranty. For other metal parts, due to the deformation caused by transportation, some minor adjustments are required during installation. Also, about the battery, we should highlight that, according to the physical properties of the battery, apart from the damage, the after-sales service of the battery only covers the initial installation after the arrival of the product.
