The Plot

After a cruel prank goes wrong, one person is left dead and another is left traumatized and institutionalized. Ten years later, a group of friends travel to a cabin in the woods for a weekend of partying unaware that a deranged psychiatric patient has escaped and is hell bent on revenge. Dawning a nurse’s outfit and a mask from her past, the Slasher Nurse won’t stop until everyone’s dead.

The Slasher Nurse: A Remake/Upgrade

We are currently best known for our summer camp slasher, Bloody Summer Camp (2022) starring Felissa Rose(Sleepaway Camp, Terrifier 2, Victor Crowley) and Dave Sheridan(Scary Movie, Devil’s Rejects, Victor Crowley) and are about to release our 4th full length film, Go Away, a home invasion slasher starring Thom Mathews(Friday the 13th Part 6, Return of the Living Dead), Tuesday Knight(Nightmare on Elm Street 4), Felissa Rose(Sleepaway Camp, Terrifier 2, Victor Crowley), LC Holt(You’re Next), Justin Marxen(Haunt) and Robert Mukes(House of 1000 Corpses). Our first film though, was a no budget slasher aimed at bringing a badass masked female slasher into the horror world that could stand toe to toe with the likes of Michael Myers, Leatherface and Jason Voorhees. While there are a lot of badass female killers in films (Felissa Rose being a great example), there aren’t a lot of masked female slashers. We wanted to create that kind of killer and we did with “Curse of the Slasher Nurse”. The only problem is that it was our first film and it was made with basically no budget and very little experience. So, since we feel like this iconic character didn’t get the film she really deserved, we have decided to revisit this film and take everything we’ve learned over the years and revamp this film to make it a worthy film for the character. As with all of our previous films, the death count will be high and all of the gore will be 100% practical FX. We hope you will help us bring this film back to life.

What We Need & What You Get

We are setting a flexible crowdfunding goal of $10,000. Like with every film, the more we raise the bigger and better it will get. Regardless of how much we raise, we will make this film and you will get any perks you buy but the bigger the budget, the better the film will be. A bigger budget can add more gore and deaths to the film, upgrade our locations, provide better equipment for a better quality film and could even bring one or more celebrities into the film.

SLASHER 15 PRODUCTIONS IS MADE UP OF HORROR FANS. WE MAKE HORROR MOVIES BECAUSE THAT’S WHAT WE LOVE. WE MAKE MOVIES THAT WE AS FANS WANT TO SEE MADE.

I am Dave Kerr, an indie horror writer, producer and director. I am the creator of Slasher 15 Productions and I am a horror fan just like you. This will be my 5th full length feature horror film. After completing my first film Curse of the Slasher Nurse in 2017, I set a goal to make each film better than the last.  Better story, better quality, better everything. My latest film, Go Away, was my most ambitious project so far. With two crowdfunders, we raised over $50,000 and featured horror icons Thom Mathews (Friday the 13th Part 6), Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), Tuesday Knight (Nightmare on Elm Street 4) Justin Marxen (Haunt), LC Holt (You’re Next) and Robert Mukes (House of 1000 Corpses).

Amber Fulcher, who produced both of the Slasher Nurse films as well as produced and did special effects for Bloody Summer Camp, will be joining me again as a producer and FX artist for our remake of Curse of the Slasher Nurse. Amber is an even bigger horror fan than I am and her attention to detail is vital when creating realistic gore FX.

Michael McGlynn and Jaime Weisman joined Slasher 15 Productions on our third film, Bloody Summer Camp as Producers  and also produced our latest film, Go Away. We are excited to have them returning to produce Curse of the Slasher Nurse as well. Mike and Jaime made themselves a valuable resource during Bloody Summer Camp so we’re excited to have them helping make this movie great as well.
