We are a congregation of Members attached to the Hindu Faith -The way of life. Sarvamangala Shri Saneeswara Temple – NY is the FIRST Temple in the world outside India dedicated to the Planet God. 

This Community space with 4000 Sq ft  is in New Hyde Park NY and we have been in this space for the Last 6 years – It is a Warehouse facility converted into a congregation space & it has No Heat & Cooling facility. We have worked on bits & pieces & added facilities & it looks much better from when we first started.

We offer an array of services to our members which involve children from 5 years to a senior with 70 years of age. These services attract our community members despite the inconvenient facility.

Hence we plan to renovate the space with ‘drop ceiling’, repaint & add heat & cooling facility that would help the members to be comfortable.

We are planning to Raise $70,000

The total budget for renovating the space is estimated @ $70,000 which includes labor & material.

Brakup: $19,000 for the ‘drop Ceiling’ / $36,000 for installing the 3 HVAC Split unit of 30,000 BTU per unit /  $7000 for Painting & Carpets / $4000 for Bathroom & $4000 for contingencies.

We plan to offer a unique gift of inscribing your name on the walls of the Temple & present you with an artistically weaved silk shawl in a copper plate – and prayer offered on your behalf for one whole year.

Should we fall short on raising the funds – we will do phase wise renovation in accordance to the funds raised.

A Space to congregate like minded people and attract others to a peaceful, caring & sharing atmosphere is very crucial especially in today’s world filled with so much negativity, chaos, scarcity. Your Support will make the Space more congenial & comfortable for members of the community to come and avail our services.

WE have been in the space for over 5 years & we are aware of all the fine points as to what we require & we have scouted to get the material at a lower cost – however we are not in a position to predict the labor market especially post covid scenario – we will be having  a back up plan to overcome such situations.
