The Oclean X Pro—a touchscreen smart toothbrush—is cleaning up on Indiegogo, having already funded itself nearly 18 times over.
Dubbed “the world’s smartest sonic toothbrush,” the Oclean X Pro has already impressed the crowdfunding community with over $355,000 in pledges from 6,278 backers—an average of $56 per backer. So far, the Oclean X Pro managed to raise 1763% of its original $20,000 goal.
The so-called smart toothbrush aims to deliver a thorough cleaning with a multitude of additional benefits. Diverging from the typical toothbrushing experience, the Oclean X Pro comes equipped with a color touchscreen to track cleaning progress, adjust sensitivity, and much more.

The sonic toothbrush can clean at a pace of 42,000 strokes per minute—a monumental 13,000% faster than traditional brushing. The Oclean X Pro also boasts four brush modes including, whiten, sensitive, clean, and gum massage, along with 20 brushing programs that grant the user the ability to adjust strength and intensity. A handy inbuilt stop clock also allows for easy and adjustable timing to suit a myriad of brushing goals.
There’s a reason why the Oclean X Pro is known as a smart toothbrush; the AI-controlled device can even detect if the user is applying too much pressure, adjusting the brush strokes to compensate for over-brushing. Regardless, the price point more than makes up for its pitfalls. At a current campaign price of around $55, the Oclean X Pro is significantly cheaper than other competitors on the market—and arguably much more entertaining.
