This is not your standard EDC coinage – this is EDC reminder coins on steroids! Every Norse Medal measures a whopping 2.7 inches (70mm) in diameter and with a thickness of 0.28 inches (7mm). The weight of one medal alone is 6.35 oz!

DESIGN: On this medal you see the war god Thor fighting his arch enemy Jormungandr, The Midgard Serpent, at sea from his boat. His hammer Mjoelnir lifted to strike with all his might. This medal has antique copper plating and antique finish.

PURPOSE: Used to boost confidence and mental focus. This medal is i.e. awarded to a person who has overcome continuous hardship or displayed enormous bravery.

DESIGN: On this medal you have the aesir god Tyr sacrificing his sword hand for the binding of Fenrir. The medal backside has the god Vidarr breaking the jaws of the Jotunn Fenrir to anvenge his fathers death. The medal has antique gold plating and antique finish.

PURPOSE: I.e. awarded for courageous effort or for making big life sacrifices. The person who is gifted this medal is willing to do whatever it takes!

DESIGN: This medal has a srakkar with runic inscriptions and the aesir, god of protection, Heimdall sounding his horn on the backside. The runes say “PROTECTION, SAFETY, HIGHER SELF“. This medal has antique bronze plating with antique finish.

PURPOSE: Awarded for having achieved a goal of significant importance. This medal is for example awarded to a person who has served as a great example for others.

DESIGN: On this medal the iconic Fehu rune is surrounded by runic inscriptions, which say “WEALTH, LUCK, PROSPERITY“. This medal has bronze plating with antique finish.

PURPOSE: Awarded to wish someone good luck, prosperity and longevity. This medal is i.e. awarded on special occasions like weddings, birth, baptism, when someone moves, takes on a long journey or similar occasions.

We made this easy for you in the pledge tiers. You will find that the Norse Medal pouches and boxes are included in some pledge tiers, so we encourage you to pick the pledge tier, which is just right for you. You can, however, also add additional pouches/boxes to your existing pledge to customise it to your preference. Medal, pouch and box variants are all specified in your survey once the funding has ended on Kickstarter.

The boxes come in grey, blue and black and are designed to hold one medal each. Add +35 DKK for 1 box or +60 DKK for 2 boxes.

The pouches come in grey and black and are designed to hold one medal each and are manufactured in imitated suede. Add +30 DKK for 1 pouch or +55 DKK for 2 pouches.

One spread per court card with the hand illustrations in a larger, un-cropped format.

How to apply add-ons

To apply one or more add-ons, you must increase your pledge with the indicated value via the “manage my pledge” button while keeping the same reward level. You must then send us a private message for specification of your chosen add-on(s) while the project is still funding on Kickstarter. If you have any doubts or questions in relation to how add-ons work you are more than welcome to send us a private message. We will not be using BackerKit or any other post-funding pledge manager to apply add-ons after the funding has ended on Kickstarter.
