Carbon Monoxide ✔️ Carbon Dioxide ✔️ Fine Dust ✔️ TVOC ✔️ Temp & Humidity ✔️ App Connectivity ✔️

Story

Knowing the air quality around you is very important! The air you breathe is just as important as the water you drink.

Build a healthy ventilation habit with the pocket-size air quality monitor, AirNotis, to improve the air around you!

AirNotis got me hooked, and here’s why!

How to utilize AirNotis 101

According to the American Industrial Hygiene Association(AIHA), a concentration level of carbon dioxide(CO₂) around 2,000ppm may cause headache and drowsiness, and high concentrations above 5,000ppm may lead to brain damage.

real-life exmaples of “how fast carbon dioxide accumulates indoors”

Carbon dioxide concentration levels above 1,500ppm may cause headache, sleepiness, and increased heart rate.

When exposed to levels above 5,000ppm for many hours, serious oxygen deprivation symptoms may occur.

AirNotis accurately measures the real-time CO₂ level around you and give you notifications for ventilation both on the device and smartphone app

As soon as CO₂ concentration exceeds 1,500 ppm, AirNotis automatically notifies you of ventilation recommendation on the device and the alert messages on your smartphone.

AirNotis helps you build ventilation habits in daily life.

You will be reminded to ventilate whenever the air quality around you becomes bad.

You can stay away from high concentration levels of CO₂ just by followingAirNotis’ tips.

Ventilating your room regularly significantly improves your quality of life and health.

Since carbon monoxide(CO) is produced during incomplete combustion, you can be exposed to CO in various cases while camping, cooking, spending time in the car, home and buildings, and other enclosed places.

To prevent tragedies caused by CO in advance, it is important to be aware of the danger of carbon monoxide.

Long-term exposure to the concentration level of carbon monoxide above 50ppm may experience symptoms of headache, nausea, and vomiting.

If the number reaches 200pm, you may experience impaired mental function, serious headaches, and in the worst case, even unconsciousness and death.

Since carbon monoxide has no color, no smell, and no taste, people are likely to be poisoned without them even realizing.

Carbon monoxide is called “the silent killer”.

AirNotis tells you to ventilate the space as soon as the carbon monoxide level exceeds 50ppm,

and when it reaches 200ppm, AirNotis gives you evacuation alerts on the device and your smartphone.

Not only does AirNotis measure the air quality around you,  “but also it helps you stay out of danger by giving you general tips and evacuation alerts”

Fine dust has been one of the major environmental problems in Asia and Europe. Today, even North America is facing this environmental issue too.

Fine dust is a particle smaller than a hair and cannot be easily identified by human eyes.

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has classified fine dust (PM) as a Group 1 human carcinogen. Short-term exposure to fine dust can cause symptoms such as asthma, acute bronchitis, and arrhythmias, while long-term exposure can lead to cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease, and even lung cancer.

Families who use carpets or have animals should pay more attention to indoor fine dust, as fine dust from outside easily sticks to carpets and animal furs.

When the fine dust concentration level is high outside, avoiding outdoor activities is recommended. When it comes to indoor fine dust, ventilating the space with fresh air or using air purifiers is recommended.

AirNotis accurately measures 3 different sizes of fine dust – PM1.0, PM2.5, and PM10.0

With the alert function, AirNotis effectively provides you with tips on how to improve the air quality.

VOCs are chemicals found in household products, such as heaters, copy machines, detergents, aerosol sprays, cleansers and disinfectants, air fresheners and pesticides, construction materials and furniture, adhesives, and office supplies.

According to the Minnesota Department of Health, chronic exposures to VOCs may lead to cancer, liver & kidney damage, and even central nervous system damage.

Short-term exposure to VOCs may cause nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache, irritation in throat and eye. Long-term exposure can cause cancer, damage to liver, kidney and even the central nervous system.

AirNotis preciously measures the VOC levels in the air and intuitively displays them in 5 levels.

When the VOCs over 600ppb is detected, the device actively alerts you for ventilation

In addition to the factors explained above, temperature and humidity are important factors affecting human comfort.

AirNotis measures real-time temperature and humidity and displays the numbers intuitively on the screen.

Find the best comfort with AirNotis!

Multiple smartphones can connect to one AirNotis via Bluetooth at once. With just one AirNotis, all the family members can check the air quality around AirNotis simultaneously on their smartphones.

In contrast,

multiple AirNotis devices can connect to one smartphone via Bluetooth at once. With just one smartphone, you can check all the air quality in each room of your house.

Within the app, you can also set up the device page, temperature units, or hours of your choice, including alarms and more.

When we think of “air quality monitors”, these old designs below come to mind.

The display of AirNotis is tilted with the meticulous calculations – exterior tilted by 7.9 degree, and screen tilted by 12.5 degree – to provide our users the most comfortable sight of the device quickly and clearly whether you’re standing or sitting down.

The philosophy behind the design of AirNotis is to help people easily check and know the air they breathe. The compact size and light weight also help carry this air monitor anywhere.

Besides, we applied the Braun Television design to AirNotis for the round and soft look. Its retro style font is also adopted in the same context. We hope that people use AirNotis in daily life as if it is a friend of yours, not an industrial tool.

AirNotis comes in a compact size smaller than a fist, has a comfortable grip with a volume just enough to be audible. It is a perfect device to be carried anywhere without sacrificing your convenience.

Our AirNotis can be simply placed on the deck in the car, and its cordless time lasting up to 24 hours makes it even more convenient to use during outdoor activities such as camping.

The hand strap included in the package comes very useful for various situations. Know the air quality around you in real time and get fresh air.

AirNotis is equipped with high-performance sensors for accuracy

For CO₂ measuring,

Low-priced CO2 sensors in the market do not directly measure CO2, but they calculate the value indirectly by measuring hydrogen and alcohol. As an example, the values calculated by these sensors increase in response to alcohol. These sensors were issues in the media.

AirNotis is different. The CO2 sensor AirNotis has is super accurate and measures CO2 directly in the air.

AirNotis uses the “photoacoustic sensor measuring up to 40,000ppm with the error range +- 50 ppm + 5%.

We also used a high-performance electrochemical sensor that measures carbon monoxide(CO) up to 500ppm to increase the measurement accuracy.

For VOC measurement, AirNotis is equipped with a metal oxide sensor that precisely measures VOCs.

And finally, a laser sensor inside the device measures fine dust with a light-scattering method.
