Story

WRONG PLACE, WRONG TIME.

Synopsis: A food delivery driver is reluctantly dragged into the middle of a criminal plot. When the job goes wrong, quick thinking and smart talking are the only tools protecting him from his captor, and an increasingly uncertain fate.

Who Are We?

Director/Screenwriter: Jon Westling – At 21 years old, Jon Westling has the advantage of a lot of time, determination, and experience on his hands. Cutting since he was only eleven, writing even earlier. He first gained attention for his debut feature film, an experimental documentary entitled Road Trip Runaway. The film saw moderate success online and in festivals, and has screened all over the country, and out of it. The project was awarded Best Experimental Film at the Lights, Action, Camera! film festival in India.

Producer: Mark Wolfe – CEO, Movie & TV Producer, Reading Rainbow co-founder, Senior studio executive. Mark Wolfe has been all over the world, creating and guiding projects that have entertained and educated millions. He has worked on films such as Terminator 3 and Terminator 4, I Heart Huckabee’s, Fargo, The Big Lebowski, Mr. Bean, The Usual Suspects, and many more! Always serving in the role of producer or executive.

It was me realizing if I didn’t wake up and stop obsessing over these things I had no control over, it was going to destroy my mind. It’s a film about waking up, and betrayal. I hope it can help other people in the same way it helped me. And beyond catharsis, it’s a well written, well structured piece that you will enjoy.”

Our First Movie: ROAD TRIP RUNAWAY

Winner of Best Experimental Feature at the Lights, Camera, Action! Film Festival in India.

Synopsis: Road Trip Runaway follows two teenagers as they travel across the American countryside during the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Starting in California with their sights set on New York, the pair set off completely unsure of what may lie in front of them. The documentary is hosted by an increasingly unreliable narrator, who finds himself slipping deeper and deeper into an anxious psychosis.
