The Commander Essentials Kit (CEK) is a collection of useful gear for Magic: The Gathering Commander/EDH games. The items in the kit will help keep your game and gear organized during MTG commander nights!

The main product in the kit is a professionally manufactured and finished (NOT 3D PRINTED) Command Zone Tray and Life Counter with custom oversized acrylic dice. Also, each kit will come with a high quality felt carrying case and the unlocked extras!

The Command Zone Tray and Life Counter provides you a structured way to keep track of the critical information during a Commander game, like:

• Commander Damage for each opponent
• Commander Cast Count
• Your life total 
• Misc. slot for poison, experience, energy, life up to 2099, etc.

Each component is professionally manufactured with injection molded plastics and acrylic. Then each Command Zone Tray and Life Counter are professionally hand painted with a dual tone finish, each one is just a little bit different and unique.

Once you’ve received your rewards and addons, if you are unhappy with any items that you’ve received, please contact us via email or Kickstarter message. We will do our best to resolve any issues and replace any defective items. If we are unable to resolve the issue, you can send the items back for a full refund.

Command Zone Tray and Life Counter

The command zone try and life counter are professionally injection molded (NOT 3D Printed) then painted with a unique finish. The tray measures 147mm x 112mm x 6mm (5.8″ x 4.4″ x 0.24″)

The numbers and letters are painted in with a silver color. The life counter is a click wheel that snaps in place at each number, it has a nice firm satisfying snap to it. Watch the close up video for a better look.

Oversized custom spin down dice set

Each Commander Essentials Kit (CEK) comes with a custom set of oversized dual color acrylic dice. Each kit includes:

• 4x D20 25mm Spin Down Dice
• 1x D6 17mm Spin Down Dice

Felt Storage Case

Each CEK comes with it’s own storage case! You will love this high quality felt case! It has a lot of room for the CEK items plus your own gear. 
It measures 22cm x 14cm x 5cm (8.7″ x 5.5″ x 2″)  at the base.

We have decided to ship the Commander Essentials Kit world wide! We are working with our logistics partner to create the best delivery options for everyone. 

The Kickstarter Rewards do NOT include any shipping prices. These will be charged after the campaign is complete, via the Pledge Management software. You will have the opportunity to review and agree with the shipping charges at that time.

Canada, USA, and UK

Orders from these countries will be shipped from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. If you are local and want to arrange pickup, please message us after the campaign closes. If we receive enough orders from the UK, we will investigate fulfillment options within the UK.  

Europe

Orders from Europe will be shipped from the Netherlands warehouse. 

Australia & New Zealand

If we receive enough (100+) pledges from Australia and New Zealand, the items will be shipped from a warehouse in Australia and the rates below will apply. Otherwise they will be shipped from Canada and additional estimate of $12 AUD will be added to those prices. 

 

Rest of the World

Orders from the rest of the world will be shipped out based on their location. Prices range from $20 CAD to $50+ CAD. You can message us or comment if you want to know for a specific location. 

Nerd Gear Gaming Inc. was born from a deep-seated passion to create extraordinary gear for Magic: The Gathering enthusiasts. What began as a simple hobby, a mere spark of interest, grew into a significant side project, and now has become my entire focus and dream.

I started by making and selling a 3D printed version of the Command Zone Tray and Spinner and selling them on Etsy. I made a couple different versions before I was really happy with them, and so were my customers! 

I’ve sold hundreds of the 3D printed version over the last year, which is how I knew I needed to take this to the next level. 

The Commander Essentials Kit, takes the tried and tested design I already had, but now they will be made using professional manufacturing techniques and finishes. Then I’m adding some useful gear like the custom acrylic oversized dice, the storage case, dry erase tokens, generic edh tokens, and a token case. 

I believe so much in this product, and my future product plans, that in November 2023, I took a leap of faith, leaving behind a stable, well-paying career in IT to pursue this dream with all my heart.
