When our CEO Mark Kapij suffered a road cycling accident that left him with a vertebrae fracture which made him more sensitive to extended sitting. Helbling was founded in 1963 and positions itself as an interdisciplinary nexus of engineering and consulting expertise. The independent group operates internationally and has its headquarters and four locations in Switzerland, along with companies in Germany, Poland, the USA, and China. Movably saw that Helbling was uniquely capable to tackle this project with us by contributing the breadth of experience they have in designing reliable high volume consumer products.  They really understood the product and our goals deeply and helped us produce something we all feel is remarkable today.

With crowdfunding, we can create Movably Pro with input and support from the entire community. It also helps us reach our production goals ahead of schedule and gives us an opportunity to thank the early adopters of our product by offering a special discount. WARRANTY

We have a 2 year limited warranty. Backers will receive the standard quality warranty that applies to all Movably products, which warrants the equipment of our own manufacture to be free of defects in material and workmanship, under normal use and proper operation, for a period of two years from date of shipment.

RETURNS

We want you to be happy with our product, but because it can take some time to get used to the chair and feel the full benefits of the Movably Pro, we require customers to use the chair for at least 90 days and complete 1000+ posture changes (counted by the chair) before returning their item. If you’re still not satisfied with the product at that point, users will be able to return the chair for up to 180 calendar days from the date of purchase. Return shipping charges will apply and refunds will be issued after the product is received at the warehouse and inspected for damage.

• $198 to ship one Movably Pro + Desk 

Producing a hardware product is never easy. Factoring in integrated software adds another layer of complexity. Our previous experience at various companies makes us better prepared for the unforeseen challenges we may encounter during the tooling, manufacturing, and testing processes. But as with any manufactured good – especially an innovative, new product like ours – unexpected delays can happen. The software also requires additional testing to ensure a seamless experience for our end users. Should any issues arise or if we foresee any delays to the timeline for delivery, we promise to be transparent and let our backers know immediately. Our target shipping date is July 2024 and we will work hard to make it happen. Quality is our top priority and we will not trade quality for schedule, as we are committed to making the best product we possibly can for you and your well being.
