There are many wonderful benefits of using porcelain. One of them would be easy to clean. Porcelain is made from kaolin clay and fired at temperatures as high as 2,600°F. This makes porcelain pores extremely fine, making it naturally easy to clean and preventing any stain or smell to linger on it.

Our fine porcelain bowls are microwavable*, dishwasher safe*, free from rust, leftover grease, stain, and smell. 100% free from BPA and chemical leaching.

The silicone sleeve is completely covering the porcelain bowl, which improves the thermal insulation. It can also be taken directly after heating, without the need to use thermal insulation gloves, no direct skin contact to the porcelain bowl to prevent burns!

The silicone is also made of 100% Baby Safe material, similar to the silicone that is being used in baby pacifiers.

We did a test on how much heat is able to be retained with the silicone sleeve and Ohayo Bag. The result is not disappointing! Our insulated bag combined with the silicone sleeve is able to keep your food warm for 2 hours.

We tested out Ohayo with different products to help you easily visualize how light the Ohayo porcelain bowl is. It is lighter than 2 iPhones and even lighter compared to a glass lunch box!

We care a lot for small little details. Every part of Ohayo Bento is easy to clean. From the porcelain bowl, the lid, and even the silicone sleeve.

One of the common issues with bento boxes is how the plastic/silicone ring along the inner lid is hard to take out, and the groove will easily trap dirt. This often is the space where bacteria or mold grows over time. We took hygiene seriously, and Ohayo Bento is designed with a one-piece silicone cover with no added ring parts that makes it easier to clean, therefore no leftover dirt will remain while still being perfectly leakproof.
