A Note from the Director

I have been wanting to tell Scott’s story from the moment I met him.  He was a phenomenal musician with an illustrious career spanning six decades.  I filmed Scott for 10 years, always with the goal of making this film…Until Scott went missing in 2018.  After a six-week search it was uncovered that Scott passed away, under absolutely bizarre circumstances. 

This is my now or never moment.  I will make this film happen but I need your support! 

This campaign is critical to helping me, and a very small team, get this film up and running. 

Funds raised will help to:

• Film interviews with key people from Scott’s life and career.
• Get clearances for some of Scott’s archive performances.
• Pay a small percentage to the team who has been working for free for a year.
• And show grant funding judges that there is an audience for this film!

• If we don’t raise our goal here, any funds raised will still help us to move forward, especially with the new interviews we need to film.

An Important Story to Tell

Scott’s story deserves to be told, his music needs to be shared and what happened to him should not happen to anyone else.  

Challenges

It is my intention to make this film as soon as possible but the filmmaking process can get complicated and not all decisions will be in my control.  I will continue to update everyone throughout the documentary’s progress until it is ready to be seen. 

I have worked in media production for 20 years and my best gift/worst flaw is my tenacity. 

This film was a dream Scott and I shared and I will not let him, or you, down!
