VIXA Superspeed is a specially designed mechanical watch that pays tribute to the legendary racer Ayrton Senna and commemorates the upcoming 27th anniversary of Senna’s untimely passing.

We incorporated elements of real racing cars into the design of VIXA Superspeed, inspired especially by the race cars driven by Senna, from his 1971 PORSCHE 917K to his 1988 McLaren MP4/4. The Superspeed is a memorial and celebration of a life lived at full speed.

Senna is gone, but his legend lives on.

 

Inspired by real cars, VIXA Superspeed incorporates multiple race car elements. Its curves and angles are reminiscent of a race car’s sleek lines and its craftsmanship and intricate mechanical movement speaks to its luxury quality. It looks fast even while standing still and it lets you feel the spirit of racing and the thrill of speed every time you wear it.

VIXA Superspeed watch is carefully crafted with high quality components. The case is made from 316L stainless steel and is water resistant to 10 meters and can endure extreme temperatures and high-intensity pressure.

Sapphire glass is known for its clarity and hardness. It is one of the hardest substances on earth other than diamond. This means it is virtually scratchproof and perfectly clear, which is why we chose it to be VIXA’s crystal.  

 

• High-tech Strap

VIXA Superspeed straps are made of a high-tech material – fluorine rubber in the bottom layer and cowhide at the surface layer. This enables wrist comfort, flexibility and extreme durability at the same time. 

 

All straps are equipped with a quick-change system, such that you can easily change the strap in seconds. 

• 316L Stainless Steel

316L Stainless Steel is a high grade anti corrosion material and it is also the industry standard for top quality luxury watches.

In 1935, the VIXA brand was established in the small town of Pforzheim on the northern edge of the Black Forest in Germany.
