JACK is a universal-fit front bicycle rack that securely straps to almost any bike, offering a straight forward solution to carrying your things while you ride.  A ‘Rack of all Trades’, JACK fits to your bike with a tool-free strap system, requiring no special bicycle frame or fork, no specialist equipment, and no bike maintenance skills. 

FAST, TOOL-FREE INSTALL

JACK can be attached to or removed from your bike in less than a minute and in 3 simple steps:

1. Clip JACK onto your bars

2. Hook the load strap

3. Tighten the retention strap

MADE FROM HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS

JACK’s frame is made from a single piece of cold formed 304 Stainless Steel rod. 304 Stainless is stronger and more durable than regular steel or aluminium. It’s also rust resistant, so your JACK will go as long as you do!

JACK’s fabric base is sewn from a heavyweight military grade fabric that compliments the tough Stainless frame.

JACK’s load straps are total overkill! Modelled on a ‘Dog-bone’ safety harness strap we use climbing grade webbing and construction. JACK’s load straps can take in excess of 300KG dynamic loading. See, overkill!

To fix JACK securely in position, the Retention Strap fits around the back of your bikes stem spacers and secures with a Stainless Steel cam-lock buckle.

REAL-WORLD TESTING

There aren’t any international standards that apply to JACK, but that hasn’t stopped us testing JACK to destruction: We’ve taken JACK on rough roads and singletrack with extremely heavy loads. We’ve also put JACK through his paces in the lab, with our own tests that we’ve created based on JACKs extreme use-cases.

WARRANTY

And because we’re so confident in JACK’s quality and durability, we’ll be offering everyone a 2 year warranty (not usual for a crowdfunded product). We still need to iron out the details of this, but effectively it will meant that any part of JACK that fails or becomes damaged due to manufacture faults will be replaced, free of charge.

We’ll update you more on this as we near the delivery date of your rack.

PRODUCTION

We spent a full year searching for the right factory, to make sure we get JACK to you reliably and at the best quality. We found a brilliant factory partner, with years of experience building and shipping high quality bike racks.

It’s not easy to create a totally new supply chain, but we decided to do it ourselves, with no agents or middle men, so we understand everything thats going on ‘behind the scenes’.

SHIPPING AND TAXES

Shipping will be separately charged when we are ready to ship your reward. 

Due to unusually high shipping costs caused by global supply chain issues (due to covid and other things), we will be charging shipping just prior to fulfilment, in the hopes that costs will decrease. Any decrease, we will pass the saving onto you, and lower our shipping rates.

The table below represents our best estimate of shipping costs.

Customers based in the US, EU, UK, Canada, and Australia either have VAT included in their pledge price, and will not have to pay any duties. 

This will also be the case for most other countries and locations, but in the end, all backers will be responsible for any unforeseen import duties, taxes and customs fees after the shipment arrives in their country.
