HOWÂ DID WE DO IT?
You know the expression, “it takes 10,000 hours of practice to reach perfection”. We’ve probably put that many hours into this project – if not more – to make it work the way it does.
The smallest of details needs to be precisely calibrated to guarantee perfect microfoam. The impeller’s speed, the coupling’s magnetic force, and the jug’s shape need to be just right.
Every tiny change affects and changes the outcome, so we needed to test every possible combination of variables. Still, we persevered, putting in thousands of hours designing, modeling, testing, tweaking, prototyping, and experimenting. We did it for over three years until everything was flawless. Now all you need to do is press a button.
IS IT MAGIC?
It’s not real magic, but how it works is pretty magical.
In a nutshell, the NanoFoamer PRO creates premium microfoam milk in three stages.
It starts by pre-heating the milk to a given temperature while mixing slowly. Then ratchets up to dizzying speeds to incorporate air into the milk. Finally, it slows down to find the perfect balance by pulling down and pulverizing the incorporated bubbles through our ingenious spinning NanoScreens.
Maintaining a perfectly balanced vortex to ensure a homogenized mix – without incorporating more air – is no small feat. That balancing act makes the NanoFoamer PRO seem so magical and fantastical.

The NanoFoamer PRO evolved through early concepts, to trial prototypes for concept validation, through thousands of tests, iterations, and changes. New challenges resurfaced, but we persevered until we got the smoothest foam possible. Â The journey was long, but the end result was worth it.

We ship the product everywhere in the world, excluding Japan**.
** A local Japanese crowdfunding project will occur after this campaign and once the product is fully certified for Japanese standards.
The NanoFoamer PRO is electrically certified for the US, EU & Europe, and Australia and works in any country using a Type B, C, G, or I socket. Other countries with unique socket types (like Israel & South Africa) should select either the EU or UK type and use an adapter.

The NanoFoamer PRO is FDA & EU-compliant, certified, and BPA-free. The certifications below have passed or are currently in progress during this campaign.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The NanoFoamer PRO is an electrical appliance using a kettle connector by Strix, the world leader in kettle controls. These connectors are not waterproof, so care must be taken when cleaning. However, the NanoFomer PRO has a Silicone Polyesters based non-stick internal coating making it easy to wipe down with a cloth or sponge. At the same time, the other components can be rinsed under running water.
Do not submerge the NanoFoamer PRO or put any of the components in the dishwasher.
TIMELINE

We have spent countless hours designing, developing, prototyping, refining, re-working, engineering, tooling, tweaking, modifying, improving, and performing countless tests with every milk and milk alternative type we could get our hands on. The final year of development was about tiny tweaks and adjustments to get everything right. The NanoFoamer PRO is now ready for prime time, and the upcoming schedule is below.

We are happy to offer flexible shipping options and will continue searching for the best prices and options for our backers. We may offer standard or express options to some destinations.
You can decide where and how to ship your reward when it is ready. Delivery payment will be collected when you provide your address and choose the shipping method. We will also collect the required tax when you enter your shipping address if you ship to a location where TAX/GST/VAT is due. We are legally obliged to collect, report and pay these taxes in the jurisdictions listed below and will not make exceptions or changes to invoice amounts.
The rates below are estimates based on today’s courier rates and may vary by the time the rewards are ready to ship. We are still actively looking for the best options for every territory.
Countries with “NO” written in the column means we don’t collect tax upfront, but your country may impose import duties and fees upon receipt. These fees vary from country to country and are the responsibility of the backer/importer to pay.

Hey, I’m Dominic, the founder, and designer at Subminimal. I have a healthy obsession with all things simple. I believe good design is powerful, and good coffee is essential, so I am exploring new ways to create exciting products that help you make better coffee drinks at home. I love my piccolos and cappuccinos, but I also want a minimal, uncluttered kitchen countertop, so I quickly found myself in a pickle and decided to do something about it.
We’re a small team with big ideas. We successfully launched the first NanoFoamer on Kickstarter in 2020 and quickly followed up with our rechargeable Lithium version in 2022. A product that only gets five-star reviews.
