Our Story

Hey everyone,

My name is Zack Daley and I am proud to introduce my invention, WAR Stick. Around 5 years ago I was recovering from a shoulder injury that had me visiting physical therapy 2X a week. While on my commute home from my therapy session, I was planning out my recovery exercises & found that it required a plethora of different recovery tools. Then WAR Stick was born.

The name WAR Stick stems from it’s three training components with it’s acronym “warm up, activate, & recover”. As a personal trainer & sports conditioning coach in New York City, I created this product to minimize the equipment needed for a training session with mobility & recovery in mind.

Over the past 5 years I have dedicated so much time and effort to reach this point & create the best product possible. With your help WE can bring this product to life to help so many people live a happier & healthier lifestyle.

How does it work?

WAR Stick offers a twist lock mechanism, allowing it to be extended from its shortest length of 29 inches to it’s max length of 48 inches. The telescoping aspect allows you to activate your muscles in a completely different way.

Warm Up:  When fully extended to its max length, WAR Stick assists with lengthening or increasing mobility of the muscles and joints. Over time this will increase range of motion in each exercises and overall workouts.

Activate: Helps increase strength and stability through resistance training when resistance bands are attached to either side of the device. The split foam roller in the center allows for the wheel attachment to perform ab rollouts for your core.

Recover: WAR Stick has a split foam roller attached to aid in recovery after each workout by providing pressure to your muscles to relieve muscle tension and fascia build up. This allows for a decrease in muscle pain and increase in your training regimen. The split foam roller acts as a spinal crease to avoid unnecessary pressure on your spine when foam rolling on your back.

ATTACHMENTS:

Foot Anchor & Door AnchorThe door anchor & foot anchor attachments play a key factor in resistance training with WAR Stick. For tension to be created, you must anchor the resistance bands to WAR Stick & a sturdy surface. The foot anchor helps with maintaining equal resistance on the resistance bands when performing exercises like: bicep curls, shoulder press, squats, good mornings, etc.  The door anchor is normally used at home for asymmetrical exercises (working against a force that is unequal) by simply placing it in the doorway & closing it.

Don’t worry, if this is all new to you, our training videos will walk you through step by step.

Cloth straps (Ankle straps/ handles): The cloth straps can be used as handles or as an ankle attachment. This allows for a more comfortable grip for low impact exercises like lateral raises, core stability exercises, &  recovery exercises (external & internal rotations). These straps are light weight and make it easy for on the go workouts & work great for partner exercises.

Ab Wheel attachment:  Having a hard time performing ab rollouts?

WAR Stick was built with ALL fitness levels in mind. If you need assistance for your ab rollouts, simply attach the resistance bands on the device & use a door/foot anchor to anchor down. When facing away from your anchor point (where it’s attached to) the resistance bands will help you return to the top of your ab rollout. To make a standard ab rollout more challenging, simply face the anchor point and crunch against the resistance.

Risks & Challenges

Since WAR Stick was born, we have been working around the clock to make this product the best it can possibly be. We have gone through 3 different engineering phases, 3 different prototypes, and have been increasing the strength of our product through each phase. Where we have found strength, we have found other hurdles that are out of our control.

The COVID-19 pandemic of 2020 has been an ongoing battle for us all. As we continue to battle these ongoing hurdles, our team will be navigating through production & shipping delays to the best of our ability. As a team, we believe “team work makes the dream work”. So with you backing this project, we promise to be the best team we can be and keep you updated throughout our production process.

We appreciate your support!
