CREPAS WATCHES is proud to launch the fourth CREPAS model on Kickstarter, a product which combines SEA PROJECT’ characteristic design, marked by refined and vigorous features. The timepiece retains the brand’s most distinctive peculiarities, introducing remarkable additional elements such as the flat sapphire inlay bezel and nut around lens.

CREPAS WATCHES designs and manufactures technical diving watches for extreme divers since ten years ago. All the designs are inspired by old models that are currently unattainable for most collectors, due to their scarcity or very high prices. Our clients are watch collectors, amateur and professional divers, members of watch forums and private watch groups. This is the fourth time we offer a CREPAS design opens to a collective like Kickstater after the success of the Plongeur, Engelsfisch and Megamatic models.

CREPAS WATCHES markets its designs directly to the final client, without intermediaries. Kickstarter is perfect for us to continue maintaining contact with the customer.

All watches will be assembled and tested in Switzerland. The assembly in Switzerland consists of preinspection of each component of the watch, assembly, runing test and control of watertightness.

Our main priority is making our most demanding customers proud of wearing a CREPAS SEA PROJECT 1200m timepiece, knowing it is extremely robust and well builded. That’s why we only use the finest components and available materials.

The ETA caliber 2824-2 is perhaps one of the most well-known and most recognized movements in the watch industry. It has been in production since 1982 and was based off the original Eterna caliber 1427. The “-2” designation indicates the generation. The 2824 is considered to be a “workhorse” movement by many watch enthusiasts. Most of the notorious Swiss watch companies use it or have used it. Among the advantages of this caliber is that the 2824-2 is a movement that any watchmaker could repair, its proven quality and durability and the accessibility to spare parts. We will use the standard grade.

 The Sea Project model uses a dial with a marked three-dimensional effect. The hour indexes are applied creating an effect of depth. These indexes are the same color as the hands.

The minute markers appear raised on the outside of the dial.

We use Superluminova C3 as it is the most powerful and has a perfect tonality.

The SEA PROJECT model is available in four different colors.

All colors are done with satin paint. The grey color is the only one dial with soleil effect.

 The minute hand is a classic arrow design. This hand gives to the set a strong character.

As with the dial, the Superluminova used is the C3. 

The SEA PROJECT has a bezel insert made of sapphire. This inlay shows a 60 minutes scale. Pointed the triangule to the minute hands a 60 minutes lapse can be recorded.  

 Flat sapphire lens with AR coated on inner side.  

The SEA PROJECT uses Swiss Superluminova C3 on dials, hands and bezel insert. We have achieved a perfect balance between the dial, hands and bezel strength. 

For the bracelet we go back to a well-known vintage design: fishbone style. We used it in the Lócean model and it is one of the favorites of our customers. Solid links. Clasp with safety push buttons and signed with CREPAS.

This bracelet could be used on all our 22mm width lugs models.

In mass production the bezel insert of the models with the gray or blue dial will have orange paint on the sides of the 12-hour triangle.

With this modification the model is more balanced.

We will change the bracelet finished from sandblasted to brushed in the grey model. The sandblasted finished is very delicate.

We have to decide if we will change the case finished from sandblasted to brushed also in the grey model. 

We use this packaging with our CREPAS SEA PROJECT model. This consists of a leather roll with pockets to store the spare parts. There are four pockets.  It is the perfect packaging to travel around the world with the SEA PROJECT model.

WHAT ABOUT STRETCH GOALS?…

We offer three stretch goals items:

Custom patch getting pledged over 75.000 euros, a polo shirt if the pledged pass 150.000 euros and an upgrade to a waterproof case passing 200.000 euros.

1.- Do we have to add the shipping cost? No, the shipping cost is included by Express insuranced courier.

2.- Could we order the SEA PROJECT with yellow, blue, black or grey dial? Yes, of course. Some weeks after the campaign ends we will contact you sending a survey in where you can choose your preferred dial color as well as the size of the polo shirt.

3.- When will be the delivery? The delivery will be next February 2021.

4.- Do you delivery  worldwide? Yes, it is. We deliver worldwide.

5.- Do we have to add some other amount to the price showed? Just in case your country adds duties and taxes when we delivery the parcel to you, must to be assumed by the backer. Meanwhile, KS will charge in your account the price showed in your contribution. Nothing more.

7.- Can I request a specific Limited Edition/Serial number?

As much as we’d love to, unfortunately, we’re unable to accommodate requests for specific limited edition numbers or serial numbers for the following reasons:

1. Because multiple people could ask for the same number, and we don’t want to disappoint any of our fans.

2. Because fulfilling requests for Limited Edition numbers would be a logistical nightmare, trying to match every order to the correct number. As you can understand, once we’re up to the fulfillment process, we want things to go as quickly as possible, so that we can get your watches out to you as fast as possible.

8.- It is possible to order the ETA 2824-2 movement in an upgrade finished?

At this moment it is impossible for a microbrand like us to access elaborate or TOP movements.

9.- It is possible to order spare patches and polo shirts?

Yes, of course. Some weeks after the campaign ends we will contact you sending a survey in where you could order spare patches or polo shirts. We will give you the instructions then.

10.- It is possible to order some other type spare strap?

Under our tastes, this design only goes with a bracelet or mesh so we have not thought any other type of strap for this kind of design.

11.- Can you change the color of the watch you decide after we send the survey?

No, unfortunately once the campaign ends and you reply the survey we send you, the color you choose can’t be changed.

12.- Are the limited editions based on when you pledge?

No, the watches will be distributed randomly. Earliest backers get the benefit of the lowest pricing.

13.- Will there be any other stretch goals?

We launch with a watch that is high-quality from the start.

That’s not our philosophy for this project. We make a product that we’re proud to wear from the get-go. This project has been adjusted from the begining and our  budget is very small.
