The WAU CYBER is designed to accommodate riders of different heights and sizes. You can choose between 3 different seating options:

Large EV platforms such as Rivian, Lucid, and Tesla have all moved the ball forward and shown that the E-bike world needs to catch up, which inspired us to leave behind the thousands of copycat style bikes and bring something new to life.

The bike is what would be classified as ‘shower-proof’ so yes you can, it is not waterproof as this would insinuate you’d be able to go underwater which no e-bike currently can do! We would always recommend if you’re caught in the rain to give the bike a good clean to avoid any rusting of nuts and bolts.

Yes, we will be implementing some really cool stretch goals! When a certain amount is raised, different upgrades will be unlocked and automatically added to your bike, so get sharing and let’s smash these goals!

There are no plans to add a rear carrier, but if you would like to make this modification yourself, then feel free to do so!

Yes, it is possible to upgrade or downgrade your order. If we are still in the campaign period, the best way is to ask for a refund through your profile on Indiegogo where you’ll find a “refund” button. Then, “back” a new perk/make the order again. If the order is complete and you are transferred into our database, we will charge an additional fee of $50 USD in admin fees.

– 250W is a US class 2 e-bike. EAPC Road Legal.
– 750W is a US class 3 e-bike. UK/EU L1e-B which requires a CBT license.
– 5000W is a US class Motor-Driven Cycle. UK/EU L1e-B Two-wheeled moped which requires a CBT license.

Cyberbike charging times can be fully charged within 5 hours using a standard wall outlet. The three variants of battery are:
– 48V
– 52V
– 60V

Please note that each battery is specific to the motor you select. For example, you cannot use a 60V battery in the 250W model.

Each model can hold a maximum of 170 KG, this is the whole weight so rider and a bag/luggage.

Actual range is dependent on the level of assistance used, the weight of the rider, the load, and external weather conditions etc.  

In favourable condition you can expect the following range:

250W – 48V battery with up to 200 miles of range.
750W – 52V battery with up to 160 miles of range.
5000W – 60V battery with up to 60 miles of range.

Yes, you can! You can ride the 250W and 750W models as a normal bicycle if the battery was to run to zero.

Yes, all batteries are removable, so if you need to replace or purchase a second battery, this is a simple plug and play feature.

No, the only charger compatible with the WAU CYBER battery would be the chargers we offer as the output and connector points are completely unique to our battery.

Right now the WAU CYBER is still in the production stage, so as we develop the bike, some of the components are subject to change if we find more suitable replacements that perform better. When we are through this stage, we will continue to reserve the right to switch out any component that is equal to or higher in value. The reasoning for this is so that customers always get the best value bike for the price they pay.

The Cyberbike’s battery and electrical components are custom built for us, so these would need to be purchased directly from us. The mechanical parts are all very standard to common e-bikes, so you will be able to find them at local bike shops/garages, depending on the part. Just reach out to the support team, and we will be able to help with any breakdowns or needs for spare parts if you are struggling.

Changing out a punctured tyre or innertube is exactly the same as it is on a standard pedal bike! With a mid drive motor, it makes changing your rear tyre with ease.

So far, we’ve got locations in San Francisco, London, and Birmingham. We are working to increase the scope on this, but you will be able to have all mechanical parts serviced in any bicycle repair shop as we’ve used parts that are commonly found on other e-bikes so that you aren’t left stranded! For any non-standard maintenance, we will provide video instructions to ensure top quality service.

We recommend that you service your bike every quarter (3-4 months) if you plan on using it every day to maintain peak performance! If you are using it more leisurely, then we recommend every 6 months.

Yes, the WAU Cyberbike is backed by a standard manufacturer’s warranty of 1 year. There is an option at checkout to extend this by a further year for a cost.

Laws and regulations regarding electric bikes vary by country and region, so please check the relevant laws in your country. Here’s how each motor variant is classified in certain regions:

• 250W – US Class 2 (No license required) EAPC Road Legal
• 750W – US Class 3 (No license required) UK / EU L1e-B (CBT License Required)
• 5000W – US Class Motor-Driven Cycle, UK/EU L1e-B Two-wheel moped (CBT License Required)

We will deliver the 750W Cyber bike worldwide as long as local laws allow us to import. For UK / EU, an L1e-B or CBT License is required. It is not officially legal to ride a 750W Cyber on public roads in the UK and EU, but you are legally allowed to own and ride on public property without a license.

It is strongly recommended that you wear a good quality helmet when riding. Helmets are designed to protect your head, and we all know how valuable they are for life! It is actually the law in most countries now, and not only that, the bottom line is you are responsible for your own safety and you can make your own decisions. We trust you’ll make the correct decision on each ride to keep yourself safe and healthy.

The backer is responsible for any additional VAT/GST and sales tax depending on their country/state of residence. The price is exclusive of VAT.

Shipments will be in a reinforced box to make sure transit damage doesn’t occur. The bike will be extremely easy to assemble and will come with very easy to follow instructions so you can get riding straight away!

Shipping will be an additional $199 USD due to worldwide shipping from each of our distribution centres.

Remote islands or places with very low inhabitants can prove pretty difficult to ship to so in this circumstance there will be an extra shipping charge that may be applied to your order. If you feel you live in a hard to reach location please do let us know before you place your order!

We will not be offering a collection option, bikes will be shipped directly from our distribution centres.

We are so confident that you will love your new CYBER so much that we offer you a 14 days money back guarantee after you have received it, if you are not satisfied. However, if you decide to do so, your WAU CYBER must be in new and re-sellable condition. MUST be in original packaging.

Returns shipping to our nearest regional warehouse must be covered by you.

In the event we are unable to deliver your Cyber to your location due to any legal restrictions on the import or delivery of your bike, we shall refund you 75% of the amount on your Indiegogo campaign contribution. You are responsible for determining whether it’s legal to import, deliver, and operate the WAU CYBER at your location. In the event you cancel your Indiegogo contribution more than 10 days after it was made, we will assess an administration fee of 25% of your pledge and shall refund the remainder.
